From an early age, art has been a meaningful part of Vickie Lawrence’s life and creative journey. She studied art at Pensacola State College and Judson College, where she developed a strong foundation in technique, composition, and artistic expression. Over the years, she has continued to study and refine her craft through additional classes, workshops, and personal exploration, allowing her to develop a distinctive style that blends watercolor and mixed media. Inspired by the beauty of the Virgin Islands and the Gulf Coast, her artwork captures vibrant tropical scenes, coastal life, marine subjects, birds, and florals with expressive color, movement, and emotion. Through decades of painting, Vickie’s work reflects both her love of nature and her passion for creating art that brings warmth, joy, and a sense of place to others.
